Add element to layout grid that acts like a wrapper

I'd like to know if we can add some element to the Layout Editor that can act as a wrapper for other elements.

For example: I want to add a

tag with a specific class to a column. Inside this
I'd like to add e.g. a HTML or Markdown element.

Not sure if this is the right way, so just asking.

Thanks, Daniel

You can use the Canvas element as a wrapper and provide it with an HTML ID, CSS Class or inline style.

Just to clarify what Sipke has said, there is a little flyout menu option in the layout editor that lets you add these:

Image Text

You can add to the canvas which would go around the grid but it's available on all of the elements, so you can also add it to the column which is what you refer to later on, if you want to.

Just hover your mouse over the outside of the elements, click the dotted line and that menu will appear.
